Vintage Ceramic Ironing Sprinkler with Intact Stopper

This charmer was made in Japan - it’s a sprinkler used to moisten clothes being ironed. The Chinese figure is a nod to the Chinese laundry industry in North America - interesting fact after building the railroads across North America there were very few jobs that were available for the Chinese labourers. This is why so many opened their own laundry or restaurants.
