Vintage Chalet Glass Canada Ruffle candy dish MCM art glass bowl

Chalet Art Glass Bowl, Chalet Glass Centerpiece Bowl, Ruffle Edge Bowl, Chalet Canada Glass,Mid Century Biomorphic Glass, Canadian Art Glass This listing is for a beautiful vintage, mid century Murano style blown glass biomorphic bowl. This blown, stretched, and folded glass footed centerpiece bowl was most likely made in the 1960's or early 1970's by the Chalet Glass Company, Ontario Canada. The bowl was made using light olive green glass that has been submerged and encased in clear glass and then stretched to create the unique wavy ruffle edge. The bowl is substantial and weighs a little over 5 pounds. It measures approximately 11 inches square across the top and stands approximately 4-3/4 inches tall. The bowl is in excellent used vintage condition with respect to it's age and use. It has no cracks, chips, or repairs. There are only a few minor shelf wear scratches on the bottom. This is a beautiful mid 20th century glass piece to add to your glass collection!
