Vintage Chenille Hockey Crest Patch "Sharpes Junior Hockey League" 1950s

This patch is somewhat of a mystery. It belonged to my dad who was a professional hockey coach for over 50 yrs (Bill Purcell). He gave it to me in the 70s and I had it on a Levis jean jacket that's long gone now but before ditching it, I removed the patch and had always intended to use it again but never did. Anyway, I asked my dad where it originally came from but he's old and couldn't remember 😂 so if anyone else can relay its origins and history, that would be cool !! Width: 7" Length: 5"
