Vintage Chinese Dream of Red Mansion Jingdezhen Porcelain Collector Plate

This wonderful plate is the first in a series of 12 porcelain plates, which depict the story "Dream of the Red Chamber" (also referred to as Dream of Red Mansions). The story was written in the 1700s by Cao Xueqin, and is referred to as one of the 4 great classics of Chinese literature. The plate was painted by Master artisan Zhao Huimin and is entitled Pao-Chai. The plate measures 8.5 inches in diameter. This heavy porcelain plate is in excellent condition comes with original box and paper.
