Vintage Clarice Cliff Garden Candle Holders

Rare, early Art Deco Clarice Cliff My Garden Candlesticks- in great condition, no chips, cracks or crazing. These are highly collectible. Made by Newport Pottery England, 1930s. 5.25” tall Pearlised off-white body decorated with hand-painted, relief moulded flowers and leaves in beautiful, soft colours. Did you know Clarice left school at 13 to work in a pottery factory as a guilder. Her work can be seen in the Victoria & Albert Museum, London and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. In 2003, a 1993 Clarice Cliff charger called May Avenue sold for £39,950 at Christie’s!
