I recognize these ! (I am a Senior).
NOT earrings ! That would really hurt!!
These were popularly worn on dress bodices, one at either side/either corner of a dress with either a square or a sweetheart neckline.
Very pretty.
Could make them work in lapels too, perhaps--maybe not two of them. Shoes? Well, I think the spring clips would dig into the tops of your feet.
