๐ A vintage Coalport bone china coffee pot and lid in the discontinued "Burgundy" pattern.
It is crafted from fine English bone china, known for its high quality and durability.
The "Burgundy" pattern features elegant, intricate gold detailing of grape vines and leaves. There are also accents in a rich, deep red or maroon color, which gives the pattern its name.
The coffee pot has a classical, elegant shape, footed (standing on a base), with a gracefully curved spout and an ornate handle finished with gold trim. It includes a fitted lid with a small finial (knob) on top.
Coalport was a prominent English pottery manufacturer founded in Shropshire in 1795 (though the company often used "AD 1750" in its backstamps). Production later moved to Staffordshire, and the brand eventually became part of the Wedgwood group in 1967.
๐ Dimensions ๐ The height of the coffee pot with lid is 8.75 in (22.5 cm), without lid 6.75 in (17 cm). Maximum capacity 38 oz (1200 ml).
๐ Condition ๐ Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, gold is also in excellent condition.
