Company information:
In 1890, Herbert Joseph Colclough established Colclough Bone China. King George V and Queen Mary paid him a visit in 1913 and granted Colclough a royal licence to create Royal Vale porcelain. This particular line was rapidly expanding at the start of the 1930s, and they began to make tableware and tea sets that are still in high demand today. In the 1970s, Colclough joined the Royal Doulton Family. But in 1996, production and manufacturing ended.
Vintage china often has small manufacturing flaws and/or signs of use; these do not affect the integrity of the item but is something to be mindful of when purchasing. All “flaws” are noted.
