Vintage Compass Set 2457

A vintage compass set; I am unsure of its age or manufacturer, the only identifier I could find was the number 2457 on a corner of the case. The set includes all you see here including 2 pieces that don't fit into the case and a tube of spare parts. A few of the pieces have mild corrosion, please consult the pictures. The case is 11 5/8" by 5" by 1" deep.
