Lower compartment adds an extra layer of storage with about 2" Deep of added space. Great for an extra pair of shoes to go from day to night! Rigid design gives it structure and support. Metal feet on the bottom to avoid scratches on the material. 2 flip latches, and the bottom section is removed to reveal a smaller handbag. This section is also fully functional while the bottom is attached. Metal frame opening makes the interior easily accessed.
