Vintage Copper Tea Kettle with Porcelain Handle Made in Portugal Copperware

The kettle is handcrafted from copper, which is an excellent heat conductor, allowing water to boil quickly. The interior is typically lined with tin, which is a food-safe coating. The porcelain handle is designed to stay cool, making it comfortable to pour. Copper is a "living metal" that will naturally oxidize over time, which may cause spots or dull patches to appear. Some oxidization is visible on one spot on the bottom of kettle and there are some light surface ware due to age. I do not think this has actually been used. Small blemish on porcelain handle. All these things just seem to add character, in my opinion.
