Vintage Copper Wood Lined Box Chairmaker Renaissance Scene *Some Faults* READ!

Vintage/antique copper tone box (unsure if this is copper or plated - mostly copper colored with tarnish, the inside of the lid and some of the joints/edges are a silver tone, it smells like copper, and no area of the box is magnetic) The lid features a beautiful 3D embossed scene with a chairmaker repairing some chairs for a couple of ladies The lid is beautifully detailed and is quite heavy The sides of the box are textured like snake skin The inside of the box is lined with cedar The box measures approx 5" long, 3.75" wide, and 2.5" high This box is not without its faults. It's in fair condition overall with the following things to note: - The box has multiple dented/damaged corners. - The lid hinge is completely broken and the lid is no longer attached, but it does sit snugly on top. - Significant tarnish and wear to the finish throughout. See all pictures as they're a part of the item description. Despite the damage and wear to this box, its age alone and the detail of the lid are still worthy of something. Priced accordingly - I've seen these priced as high as $300 in good condition so I'm likely leaving money on the table, but I'm taking the damage and wear into consideration despite the fact it's still a fully functional box.
