Vintage Crewel Wall Hanging, Spring Flowers, Floral Arrangement in Basket, Fini

This is an incredible, large framed crewel wall hanging of a spring wildflower arrangement in a basket with a cute butterfly fluttering above. There is a wonderful variety of stitches with great texture and dimension. The backing fabric is light sage green linen. The backing is a bit darker within the oval. The frame is rustic wood in a dark stain, with an inner gold stripe. It is ready to hang with a wire hanger on the back. This work is extremely well done. Measurements: Large piece at 21 3/4" tall x 16 3/4" wide x 3/4" deep Condition: There are a few yellowish oxidized stains. All stitches intact, no tears, stains, odors, etc. A few small nicks in the wood frame. Not very well finished on the back.
