Vintage Currier and Ives Four Seasons Set of Gilt Edged Round Plates

Beautiful set of vintage Currier and Ives 'Four Seasons' Round Plates depicting traditional New England landscape scenes of spring, summer, autumn and winter. Currier and Ives, a 19th century print publisher based in New York, sold over 10 million prints of more than 7,000 different images. This gilt-edged set was reproduced by Bond International Japan in 1995. Each plate measures 6.5 inches in diameter. They have never been used or displayed and are in excellent condition without any chips or crazing. Included are 4 plastic plate stands. Lovely decorative set for the cabin, country kitchen or as a gift for a collector.
