Vintage Dale of Norway Lillehammer Olympic sweater

This fabulous winter adventure sweater has a pattern inspired by Norse mythology and symbolism. Images depict: 1) Freia the goddess of love and fertility 2) Odin riding his horse Sleipner - the most powerful god, riding the fastest horse in the world 3) Hugin and Munin - ravens that symbolize thought and recollection and 4) Yggdrasil, an evergreen ash tree that holds the world up. This sweater has some signs of wear, but Dale yarn is famously long wearing and this sweater has been carefully cared for and is in great shape with no stains or holes. Signs of wear include: mild felting in shoulder region (previous owner used sweater for outdoor activities wearing a backpack), light overall wear, some pulls on interior strand work.
