Vintage Danecraft Sterling brooch with gilded flowers and frame

Thus is a lush piece, just over 1-1/2 inches (almost) square. Wear it pointing in multiple directions. It is the only one of its kind that I've seen with gilding, the ones I've found online being all silver. Marked Danecraft Sterling. It's in great shape, with some patina, primarily on the back. Danecraft is an American jewelry designer, with roots in Italy, which has been producing beautiful pieces since 1934.
