🍁Vintage Dangling Pewter Earrings

These vintage earrings are made of pewter and have simple post backings. The earrings are each made up of two pieces, both diamond/rhombus shaped. The lower piece has a circular cut out and dangles from the top piece. Both pieces have a lovely basket weave/crosshatch design. The backs of both earrings have the inscription: "(C)1987 Seagull, Pewter Canada". It's not clear if Seagull is a studio or an artist's name, or even if it was actually a seagull. The earrings are in good condition with one caveat: there is a small spot on the earring on the left in these pictures, where the tone seems to be lightened a little. Look at the left earring in the center just below the cut out and then look a little to the right. I've tried to highlight it in the 2nd last picture. It looks like it may have rubbed on something?
