Vintage Made in Quebec Canada Stamped De Passille Sylvestre Modernist Enamel Brooch The vintage brooch is a modernist style with blue enamel set in a copper coloured metal. The piece is stamped / signed with the makers mark and measures approximately 1.5 inches by 1 inch. The clasp mechanism is in working order. The brooch is pre-owned and in very good condition. Note back of brooch has signs of age. De Passillé-Sylvestre is a duo of Quebec enamellers active mainly in the 1960s and 1970s. It is composed of Micheline de Passillé and Yves Sylvestre who were a married couple. Their production was sold throughout Canada and in a few points of sale in the United States .
