Vintage De Silva Pottery Bowl Italy Terracotta Rustic Blue Glaze Twist Handles Set of 6 5" across bowl outside diameter (does Not Include Handles) X 2 1/4" high Holds 12 ounces. Excellent for use as a soup bowl, salsa bowl, berry bowl, and more! The exterior has a rustic look blue glaze, interior is painted terra cotta colour, and bottom surface is left natural with wording in blue. The handles on each end are barley twist style and are very useful for lifting and serving. De Silva terracotta bowls are microwave safe and are made with fired earth. We would not recommend using in an oven or on the stovetop. Because it is porous, avoid sudden changes in temperature which can cause it to crack as the clay expands and contracts. In very good pre-owned condition. No chips or cracks. There are a few very small dings on the top rim and one small glaze crack. (See Photos) The exterior is intentionally made to look distressed.
