Vintage Decorative Cabinet Dish Royal Bayreuth Bavaria Cavaliers Musketeers

Offering a stunning decorative cabinet dish by Royal Bayreuth. This plate has a slight depth to it -- almost like a shallow bowl and is in wonderful condition with no chips or cracks. It was displayed on a wall for years before being carefully stored. The hand painted picture features two Cavalier/Musketeer type men socializing and celebrating over glasses of wine. The plate finish in the bowl is a matte criss-cross texture (hard to describe - very unique!) and the back is glazed porcelain. The back stamp is blue and says : "Royal Bayreuth - P.T. Priv 1974 - Bavaria". The scalloped edging has gold gilt paint which is approx. 90% present. Measures about 9 1/2" across and curves upward slightly to 1.5" high at the edges.
