Vintage Delft Blue St. Bernard Savings Bank 1970s

Vintage Delft Blue St. Bernard Savings Bank 1970s This beautiful hand painted delft blue savings bank is modelled after a St. Bernard avalanche rescue dog. The dog wears the known cognac barrel around its neck and is decorated with beautiful delft blue floral painting all over. There is a coin slit in the front of the barrel measuring 3cm long and 2mm wide, which should be enough for most modern international coins. The coin hatch in the bottom (yes, luckily you don't have to break it!) measures 3.5cm in diameter. The rubber lid is missing. Good used vintage condition as it has crazing but no chips or cracks. 5.25” H x 3.25” W x 4.5” L
