Vintage Delmar Joseph carved totem pole

Vintage hand carved totem pole by Delmar Joseph. Delmar Joseph was born in 1956 of the Squamish Nation Indian Band in Capilano, BC. He is the brother of famed carver Chief Floyd Joseph. This cedar totem stands 14” tall x 14 1/2” wide wingspan x 1 3/4” deep. The base is 4” x 3 1/2”. Signed on the back ‘Delmar Joseph’. In as found condition. The eagle wings are nailed and screwed on, but do have play of movement. The base also is nailed in place, but again has play of movement. The middle figure has a hole in the face area, see photo. This is a vintage piece that shows its age, but is beautifully carved and should be showcased. A unique First Nations collectible carving.
