The stylized dragon was reputedly painted first by Raphael, a master painter and architect of the Italian High Renaissance. Raffaellesco is a mythical dragon that bestows fair winds to seagoing merchants with the puffs of wind steaming from its mouth. Excellent condition with small glaze imperfections. No chips or cracks.
