Vintage Dick Whittington/ His Cat tin/lithographed bank

This vintage Dick Whittington and His Cat tin lithographed bank is more than likely circa 1930s. It was produced by Chad Valley, a toy manufacturer who acquired the toy firm of Peacock and Company in 1932, allowing them to begin producing tinplate items. In 1938, Chad Valley was given the royal appointment of Toymakers to H.M. the Queen so because this bank does not have this designation, I'm placing it in the earlier part of the 1930s. Some dints and small paint scratches. Mostly on lid.  Relatively light wear consistent with age. This tin box is approx 90 years old. 4.5" H X 3.5" W
