Vintage Drunk on Lamppost Oil Lamp

Oil Lamp Vintage Made in Japan Pre-loved This is a novelty comic oil lamp made by S. J. CHARIA COMPANY in the 1950s and depicts a drunk person holding onto a bourbon street lamp post. The lamp has a glossy black finish with cold paint details. The lampshade says "Bourbon Street" on one side and "Bar" on the other. The lamp is an original piece from the 1950s and was manufactured in Japan. Measures 8" x 3" No chips, cracks, or repairs. CAUTION: Cold painted items (painted after firing) do shed their paint easily - best to clean with a dry cloth.
