🍁Vintage EMCO Early Canadian Souvenir Pin

This EMCO pin is made of sterling silver and what appears to be enamel. With a white background, it features three fall maple leaves below a variation of a Union Jack. The back of the pin is stamped "-LING, MEC, EMCO". Some of the letters are obscured by the old-style safety pin, which is not original to the piece but was not added recently. This piece may have originally been on another brooch pin or even a hat pin. There is patina and signs of wear throughout this piece due to age and use.
