Vintage Eau de Lourdes Capsule Silver Plated Prayer Beads Handmade in Italy

Absolutely stunning antique religious emblem that would work great as jewelry, collectors item, or religious artifact. Still has the tag on it, indicating that it was handmade! And stamped with its origin “Italy” on the pendant. This set of prayer beads features a unique pendant in its centre: a capsule embedded in a silver plated pendant engraved with “Eau de Lourdes” on one side and a picture of the vision of the Virgin Mary in Lourdes on its reverse. It appears that the capsule once contained actual water from the famous site, known for its healing capabilities. It also features a dangling detailed engraved crucifix pendant. Loop measures 6” around and when stretched lengthwise from cross to centre of loop the entire prayer bead chain also measures 6”
