Vintage George Emery Wedgewood-like blue jasperware vase with white feathers. Made in Canada.
George Emery, born in 1881, apprenticed at the Wedgwood factory in England for 14 years before moving to Canada to work for the Canadian Porcelain Company. He produced his own version of Jasperware around 1926 and formed the Ecanada Pottery Company where he produced beautiful pieces with an English neoclassical style, like this vase, from 1944 until 1952.
In excellent vintage condition with some markings and scratches on the interior of the vase.
