...made in USA A charming vintage gold tone American Beauty by Elgin American compact, featuring an ornate flower basket display on the lid and a satin brushed back. The inside powder cover with strong engine engraving and closes well. With the original puff in good condition. Condition: with small marks of age and use on the outside, mostly to the back and some marks of use on the inside. There is no powder sieve (not sure this model had one, I assume it did), and I cleaned out old powder residue. The mirror is whole without scratches and all lids and clasps work as they should. Size: ca 3 3/8 x 2.5 inches (8.3 x 6.6 cm)
