Vintage Equestrian Men's Jacket

This thick wool jacket belonged to a good friend of my Grandparents, how they ended up with it, I don't know. The original owner was a small man who was heavily involved in the equestrian community of Toronto including the Eglinton Hunt Club and the Royal Winter Fair where he was one of the officials in the ring during the Show Jumping events. The jacket does show some wear on the upper chest pocket and the cuffs are worn (see pic) but otherwise is in good condition. It is a lovely "Hunter Green" colour. The picture with my hand was the truest pic I could get showing the accurate colour. It has not been worn since I wore it a few times in the 80's. I believe it originates from the 1960's. I will look for the missing button.
