Vintage Escada Couture Sheer Sleeve Velvet Dress

Escada Couture is the top of the line of this brand. All Escada items are exquisite and created with great detail and quality. I have had this dress which feels like forever. It the most gorgeous tuxedo Black Tie dress I have seen in quite a while. Every time I decide to give it up, I change my mind. I have finally decided its time to release a lot of my designer clothing... as you probably have seen in my Posh Closet. Lots more to go.... This dress is a velvety feel with sheer sleeves and tuxedo classy cuffs as shown. Super clean, almost exquisite for vintage. New, it was $1490 US as shown in the photo from my catalogue. It is black and off white. Velvet buttons as well as hooks on the inside for upper area. The first photo shows a version with gold buttons from my catalog. This version /actual dress has the black velvet buttons. Shoulder pads. Lined Length aprox 41” Armpit to armpit is aprox 28” Waist 15” across Hips 17” across aprox Back shoulder has a little flattened velvet area where it was up against something. Only seen at an angle with light. Photo taken. Aprox size of a quarter or little larger. When you look at it dead on you can’t see it.
