Vintage Etched Sterling Silver Earrings & bonus studs

Vintage etched sterling silver - old patina which takes a few years to firm. These have been sterilized and shined with a mild vinegar soap solution - I do not use harsh chemicals on my jewelry. Purchased from Luvthelook69@poshmark.ca. in very good condition. I love the antique patina and etching. Measures. One and a half inches in size and are of an oblong half moon shape. These earrings are distinctive are likely from the 1970s or later, as they are made of sterling silver, which became a standard for coins in 1868 and was marked with "925" from 1907. While hoop earrings have been worn throughout history, they gained popularity in the 1970s during the disco era and the 1980s. Note: bonus Nwots stud earrings ($25) never worn but they have a very pliable backs.
