Vintage Etched Stone Round Trinket Jar with Lid

Here is a unique etched trinket dish with lid. It is similar to carvings that come from around the Dead Sea! There are designs of horses and mythical figures. If anyone knows more about this oddity please let me know! It is in great condition with only a few small chips around the upper rim of the lid.
