Vintage FLORSHEIM IMPERIAL Shell Cordovan Full Brogue Longwing size 10 US

Stunning Florsheim Imperial longwing brougue shoes in very good vintage condition! These classic shoes feature eye-catching shell cordovan leather uppers in a lovely burgundy/brown colour with intricate full brougue & wingtip details. Also featuring full leather linings, 5 eyelet lace up closures, and original goodyear welted leather outsoles with original v-cleat heels! Men's size 10 C US. The uppers show some creasing and wear, most notably a gouge on the outstep of the right shoe and minor cracking around the rear ankle opening, but for shoes of this vintage they're in very good condition. As for the date of manufacture, I'm fairly confident in dating these to either 1965 or 1975 (due to the offset v-cleat on the heels I'm more inclined to go with 1975). In any event these are a rare find indeed. The shell is generally in good condition as previously noted, with little wear around the eyelets and no signs of excessive polishing or restoration. The original outsoles and heels are perhaps even more rare as they are often replaced on older models (I should note that these heels are often known as "suicide heels" due to their tendancy to slip on smooth surfaces). As for sizing, these won't fit much larger than your athletic shoe size. For instance I'm a size 10 in most athletic shoes and these fit me very well.
