Vintage Faceted Crystal & Lucite Bead Necklace

This vintage necklace is beaded and has an adjustable lobster clasp closure made of a silver tone metal. The clasp is very new looking and appears to be a replacement, as the beads show more wear and age. The necklace is strung with two types of beads. The front 7 beads are clear and brilliantly faceted. They are heavy, very sparkly, cold to the touch, and refract colourful prisms in the light. The clarity, refraction, weight, and sharp cuts suggest lead crystal over glass. The back 10 beads (5 on each side) are molded lucite: slightly smaller and more lightweight. They're slightly pink and though they're similarly faceted, they don't catch the light quite as much as the front. These back beads glow very brightly under UV light. If not lucite, these are most likely a dayglo-style thermoplast material. Finally, the necklace has a knot between each bead, suggesting higher quality craftsmanship and materials. The necklace has normal wear and, again, the clasp appears to be brand new, but there are no issues affecting wearability. I love this piece and would keep it for myself but if I'm being honest, I have nowhere to wear it!
