Vintage First Nations Birch Bark Basket With Lid

Vintage First Nations Handmade Birch Bark Basket Container With Lid Beautiful multi-colour round lidded basket container with dyed green spruce root and some leather sinew straps on the lid. The leather straps can be fed through existing hole in the lid, but will leave in as found condition. One break in the spruce root on the lid, as shown in last photo. No other issues other than some faded green colouring to the spruce root. The lid and the bottom of the basket are two-ply birch. All vegetal fibers, no plastics.
