Vintage First Nations Indigenous Inuit Lyme Grass Basket

Vintage Unique First Nations Indigenous Inuit Lyme Grass Basket OOAK Two-tone Lyme grass with crosses around the outside and checkered lid. Soapstone carved bird head (?) finial on lid. Does have wear to the grass in one area, as shown. But can be positioned in such a way that it appears only on the backside when displayed. Measures approximately 8” tall x 9” wide In as found condition. Could use a good dusting as I only lightly surface cleaned. Smoke free, cat friendly home.
