* 1950's semi formal sheer bodice black silk dress with floral print * This dress is a beautiful work of art, striking gold, turquoise blue and purple batik printed flowers * Flowers run up the sleeves, appear to be growing from the hem with a spattering elsewhere * Small fixed tie at the neck with a band collar * Princess style sleeves, tailored bodice with a full skirt * Bodice is sheer with the skirt being lined * Center back metal zipper (cute butterfly on the zipper pull) MEASUREMENTS *very small fitting in the shoulder and bodice Shoulders: 15" Arm hole at shoulder: 14.5" Bust: 34" Waist: 26" Hips: 48" Sleeves: 23 1/2" Length: 42" CONDITION Perfect, like new save for a tiny hole at the back collar. LABEL Handmade. Machine stitched with a lot of hand sewing, including the inside seam finish. A lot of time went into this dress and it shows.
