Vintage Floral Fringe Patch Jacket

This is a truly special piece. This was made long before it was all the rage to wear a patchwork coat. This was bought in between 25-30 years ago at the Fort Langley antique mall. Made by a local maker who had a beautiful eye for design. Made from 1930s woven cotton, 1960s Barkcloth, gorgeous 1960s fringe, and 1960s needlework. With the most wonderful 100% silk backing. This is one of the most remarkable pieces I have been honoured to sell. It has come from the original owner who never actually wore it but just admired it, which I can see why. This style is so magical, and Magnolia Pearl like. The design is oversized, it’s shown here on a size 14 mannequin. Best for a size large/XL, which is fabulous as most vintage tends to fit so small, so this is much more size inclusive. No lowball offers will be entertained on this piece as it’s truly such a work of art in materials that are so so hard to find. This would make an incredible Valentines, Mother’s Day; or birthday present imo.
