Vintage Floral Shearling Throw Pillow V2

I recently started experimenting with washing shearling. I come across quite a few, but they are usually pretty yucky & there is no way I am going to risk contaminating my home. It's a bit of a hit & miss. Many furs are pieced together just like this one, so if you're not careful or if the fur is too old they will just fall apart. These two cuties were vintage seat cushions (yes, there are two listed seperatly). I removed and discarded the decayed cotton cover along with a thin foam insert also falling apart. The floral shearling you see here got tossed into a gentle cycle with luke warm water. All natural detergent. They cleaned up really well, as you can see all seaming held together. Probably best of all is that I was able to breath new life into them for another generation. Feather insert included. There is a heavy duty brass zipper for ease of cleaning. 18" x 18" My pillows are priced to cover material costs, posh cut & a bit of labour to myself.
