Vintage Framed Needlework, Boy with Dog Girl with Cat Fiber Arts Needlepoint

These are 2 framed needlepoint art works: one of a boy holding a dog in an oval surrounded by multi colored floral sprays and the second has a girl holding a cat similarly surrounded by an oval with floral sprays. They are a coordinating pair of fiber art works. The main work is in wool needlepoint with the detailed skin of the children and the animals being done with much finer wool and petit point stitches. They were framed in Norway without glass in textured wooden frames. The frame's outer dimensions are 7 3/4 inches wide and 18 1/2 inches tall. One frame has had a small hole drilled through it at the top to add a string for hanging. This could easily be repaired. Treat yourself or give as a gift.
