Vintage French made blouse - On or off shoulders smocked paisley semi-sheer

This piece is timelessly trendy with its sheer fabric, its smocked work and its versatility of “on-or-off shoulders” wear. Purchased in Paris in the 1990’s in a flag boutique of this French brand specialized in casual fashion with a modern twist. You can choose a bra, a bralette or a camisole as undergarment. To extend its use to 4 seasons, you can wesr with a fine Italian wool camisole or any fabric that is soft on your skin Paisley pattern made of black, rust, cream, burgundy red on a brownish burgundy background. Hues will vary with lighting. Label was taken off because it was showing thru: Care is to machine wash gentle cycle inside a mesh bag or to handwash it. Man made fabric This is a versatile piece size-wise. The mannequin (size small) wears it very nicely. Labeled a size large but I made smaller. So best is to look at measurements & take into account the elasticized smocked part, Sized large probably because of elastic around collar & smocked part. Measurements in inches when flat & approximate: Pit2pit (expandable):14 Length:19 Sadly this French brand, a sign of quality, no longer exists, they could not compete w/the cheap quality & prices of fast fashion brands.
