Vintage GWG Scrubbies Jeans Men’s 36X34 Dark Blue Denim Made in Canada 1970s–80s Bootcut ⸻ DESCRIPTION Vintage GWG “Scrubbies” men’s jeans in dark blue. Classic Canadian denim with original paper tag still attached with note handwritten saying “bad denim stripped”. Bad denim – striped” = fabric had streaking / vertical warp-line defects In denim, striping (also called barré, streaking, or warp shading) happens when: •The yarn tension wasn’t even during weaving •The dye uptake was uneven •Certain warp threads appear lighter or darker •You get faint vertical “stripes” in the final fabric This is a known issue in older Canadian-made denim, especially GWG Heavy-duty construction, copper rivets, and yellow contrast stitching. Clean overall with no major flaws. Measured: 18 (waist flat) · 11.5 (rise) · 33 (inseam) · 9.5 (knee) · 10.5 (leg opening).
