Vintage German Salt Glaze Pitcher/Jug by Westerwald Stoneware Studio Pottery

A lovely vintage wine pitcher / jug. A great hand crafted salt glaze stoneware piece. Made in Westerwald, the area in Germany in the federal state of Rhineland-Palatinate which is known for its traditional saltglaze earthenware. This small jug with green and cobalt blue glazing has a stylized foliage pattern and originally was made for wine. Collectible German salt glaze studio pottery, which you can use for serving wine or as a flower vase, or for interior decoration.
