Vintage Glass Pearl Beaded Necklace

This vintage necklace is beaded and has a gold tone metal old-style lobster claw closure (stamped US PAT PEND). The necklace features round, white glass (faux) pearls accented by longer faux pearls, gold tone decorative beads, and gold tone spacers. The necklace has some normal wear and there is some tone change in the clasp, but nothing that affects wearability. I was under the impression that these were plastic faux pearls, but the weight and UV glow suggest glass beads with a lustrous coating.
