Hummel molded signature on the base, confirming its authenticity and connection to Sister Maria Innocentia Hummel, the German nun and artist behind these beloved designs. Beautiful hand-painted details and soft vintage glaze tones typical of mid-century Hummels. Minor chip on the hat (see photos), otherwise in very good condition.
