Vintage* Gold Leaf Under Glass Pendant Necklace

Unusual piece with gold leaf encased in thick circular glass and embellished with gold-tone alloy. Glass has minor chip on its end which is unnoticeable unless looking. Gold top brace is slightly tarnished due to wear but it gives it character. (please see photos). Approx. 2.23" diameter and .5" thick. Hangs from a combo 4-strand rope and 2-strand chain.
