Vintage Green Glass & Marcasite Earrings

These vintage earrings are made of a silver tone metal and have post backings that I will expand on in a moment. The earrings are rectangular and each feature a piece of round-front green glass running down the center of its length. There are also 5 tiny, faceted pieces of marcasite on either side of both glass pieces. The earrings have normal wear including some little bites in the edges of the glass, tone darkening in the back, and the posts. The earrings are still wearable, but I would recommend (and will include) rubber backings. Okay, so if you look at pic 5 (2nd last), you can see two things: the first is that the posts are threaded like screws, the second is that one post is standard length and the other is short. I don't know if these were originally shirt/button studs or pins, or if they were always earrings. While I didn't find that the post threading irritated my ears, please be aware that it is there.
