Vintage Grey Gray Silver Secretary Dress Homemade Home Sewn Midi 1970s 70s 1980s 80s Ruffled Collar This vintage dress appears to have been homemade / home sewn. There are no tags. There are lovely shiny silver "ribbons" shot through the fabric. It features a ruffled collar, elasticized cuffs, elasticized waist, matching belt, and is semi-sheer. The elastic has lost a lot of it's stretch, however it is still perfectly wearable. I believe the dress is polyester. Midi length. I am modelling the dress and am 4'11.5", so it is longer on me. I wore black underwear on purpose to illustrate the semi-sheerness of the material. Measurements taken lying flat: Armpit to armpit: 16.5" Shoulder to shoulder: 15" Waist (unstretched): 13" Total length: 41" I am a modern day size 4-6 US and it fits me well.
