Vintage Groovy Green Maxi Dress 70s Kaftan Beatrice Pines

This pschyedelic wonder is ready to party! Made by Styled by Beatrice Pines, with a union label. Beatrice Pines was a Canadian swimwear and loungewear designer who started in the late 1940’s. This luxe 1970s gown is so fun, with an inner neon green poly knit/ nylon lining (similar to petticoat or slip material) and a bold printed polyester crepe chiffon outer. The dress is finished with a high collar with gold lurex and purple cord trim. The main fabric is a bold print with sakura flowers, fans and wheels amongst a paisley motif. The dress has a light green base with pops of purple and orange amongst darker khaki green and teal tones. This dress is missing the size label, but the model is size XL and 6 ft tall for reference. Best fit a Medium through XL, depending on desired fit. Please refer to measurements for the best idea of fit. 'Sleeve' length is 75cm to the hem from the neckline Body length is 136cm at center seam Overall good condition, with minor wear on the collar. The underarms of the lining have a few popped stitches, which can be repaired by a tailor. I am happy to do it before shipping at your request, hand stitched with white thread.
